Master Baker Lionel Vatinet’s passion for his art and commitment to the quality of his creations is evident in everything prepared at La Farm. His desire to be part of the community that he serves is the reason for the open bakery design, which was created by removing the wall between the baker and the customer. Vatinet wants to share his passion and his knowledge with everyone who comes through the door.
La Farm Bakery features hand-crafted, artisan breads, made daily using traditional French techniques. In addition, we offer breakfast pastries, baked goods, tarts, and a variety of seasonal pastries.
There are no frozen starters, no shortcuts. No preservatives or artificial ingredients. Just old world artisan baking and a passion and commitment to tradition, quality, and your health.
La Farm Bakery breads have been featured at The James Beard House, in O Magazine, Food & Wine, Martha Stewart, The Local Palate, Food 52, Garden & Gun, and on The Rachel Ray Show. In 2012, Saveur recognized La Farm Bakery as one of the 20 Great American Bread Bakeries.
La Farm® is a retail/wholesale bakery and café, where we are proud to offer our artisan breads, pastries, baked goods, deli and café offerings for purchase, delivery, dine-in, carry-out, grab and go or wholesale distribution. We offer our customers both premade and custom gift basket services, as well as other wonderful canned or prepackaged baked goods and mixes gifts for purchase. Through our website, our customers have access to La Farm’s breads, baked goods, desserts, catering, gift baskets and canned goods for pick-up purchase, delivery or shipment.
La Farm® also offers on or off-site private baking and cooking classes. We are proud to host or cater parties, including adult or child’s birthday parties, private parties and events, as well as tours of our production and retail facility. La Farm® also offers bakery and café production training consultation services, as well as bakery and café business management consultation services.
