Say hello to every customer, perform duties to La Farm systems, execute five customer service points, execute merchandising walk-through

Hours of Work:

       FT/PT position

       Flexibility required: Weekends required, two days off, not consecutive, holiday work required

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

       Provide excellent customer service which includes saying �bonjour�(hello) to every customer

       Engage verbally with each customer: ask what they are looking for or point out a sample item

       Effective selling through product knowledge and suggestive up-selling

       Sense of urgency to serve every customer

       Complete opening and closing checklist and procedures and daily and sunday cleaning list

       Prepare and maintain samples, minimum of 3 samples at all time

       Complete store merchandising walk-through at the with-in first 30 minutes of your shift

       Merchandise to La Farm standard, properly sign product, samples and store, packaging and labeling

       Maintain coffee station: full fresh hot coffee, fresh cold creams, full condiments and packaging available, clean and organized, stock backup below

       Proper rotation and quality control

       Run register accurately and proper cash handling and processing

       Answer phone to La Farm standards

       Take accurate special orders and payment information for retail, catering, and wholesale orders

       Fill special orders accurately and on time

       Complete production schedule: assure items available on productions sheet for sale and write out of stock left over amounts

       Communication w/ production staff on out of stocks and excessive leftovers

       Bake breads, cookies and prep tarts as needed for retail sales

       Product knowledge: bread, pastry, bake goods, coffee, cheese, and specialty goods

       Maintain cleanliness of stores and displays

Additional Market Duties:

       Hawk bread loudly

       Setup, signage, sampling onsite, cleanliness, sanitation, & breakdown

       Ensure product quantity brought is accurate to product quantity ordered

       Accurate timeout/over/shorts written on order sheet

       Vehicle clean & gas full

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

       Some experience with customer service, food service or high end retail desired

       Cash handling experience a plus, customer service and sales skills

       Positive outlook and attitude, multilingual a plus

Working Conditions:

       Ability to work in fast paced environment

       Ability to bend and lift 50 lbs, stand on feet long periods of time

       Ability to multitask, maintain positive attitude, problem solve
